Huawei Mate 40 Pro is equipped with a 13-pixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture. DxOMark pointed out that even in low light, the camera can provide good facial exposure, and the “simple fixed focus solution” worked well in the test.

DxOMark stated in its review that the selfie camera of Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a wide dynamic range, which is useful in backlight situations where the background is brighter than the subject and other high-contrast scenes. The comment pointed out that the subject can be well focused in close-up shots and at a certain distance from the arm.

DxOMark stated that the colors of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro selfie camera are “the most beautiful” and provide a good white balance in low light.
