The Chinese manufacturer Geely Auto just added another milestone to its history as it announced it will enter the largest South American market with the launch of its flagship model, the Emgrand EC7.
The EC7 has become the most popular model of Geely Auto, with sales in 20 countries and regions worldwide. In November 2011 EuroNCAP awarded a safety certificate 4 star, making it the first Chinese car model in achieving accreditation of European security with a high level of stars.
Geely Auto products for the Brazilian market will be assembled in Uruguay , with parts of the manufacturing process, including welding and painting, which will be held in China. Products assembled in the Uruguayan plant mainly attend the Brazilian and Argentine markets in accordance with the Agreement of the South American Common Market.
