The Chinese electronics giant Huawei launches the sale of its already at the IFA 2012 featured tablet Media Pad 7 Lite. The compact 7-inch tablet with its aluminum back makes a quality impression, but only offers entry-level technology. So its shows IPS display only 1024 x 600 pixels, and the drive takes a simple 1.2 GHz single-core processor.
The 370 grams, the model has an 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded via memory card. Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) facilitates the operation. The Media Pad 7 Lite comes via WLAN to the Internet. But in addition is also a UMTS / HSDPA available for mobile Internet use, the transfer rate to 3.6 Mbit / s (reception) is limited. A simple 3.2 megapixel camera on the back and a slender 0.3 megapixel camera on the front, this small tablet Huawei also.
The predecessor: Huawei Media Pad
The Huawei Media Pad 7 Lite comes now for 219 Euros (RRP) in the trade. There it meets the new bestseller Google Nexus 7 , which has a significantly higher technical equipment part. The Nexus 7 costs in the 16 GB-WLAN-V erosion with Google Play currently 199 Euros.
