Hadimba Temple

Located close to the Hadimba Temple, Museum Of Himachal Culture And Folk Art is the best place to get an insight into the culture and heritage of this hill station. The museum houses a unique collection of unknown antiques including household objects, weapons, religious relics, instruments, and scale models, etc.

Manu Temple

Manu Temple, located approximately 3 km from the famous Mall Road, is dedicated to Lord Manu. The temple is the best place to meditate and spend some peaceful time.

Mall Road

Spending the evenings enjoying a stroll in Mall Road is a must when in Manali. Flanked with shops, showrooms, department stores, restaurants and cafes, Mall Road has something for people of all age groups. It is an ideal place to indulge in shopping.

Rohtang Pass

Rohtang Pass, situated at around 2 hours driving distance from Manali, is bestowed with immense natural beauty. Located at an elevation of 4,000 meters above the sea level, Rohtang Pass remains covered with snow during most part of the year.  Adventure seekers can indulge in a number of snowsport activities including skiing, snowboarding, etc.

How to Reach

The nearest airport to Manali is Bhuntar, located at a distance of 50 km from the main city. Air India operates a direct flight from Delhi to Kullu, however, the service is regular and the price is high. If you are looking to travel between the two cities at a cheaper rate, traveling by bus is the best option. Delhi to Manali bus route is scenic and offers sensational views of the surroundings.

Best time to Visit Manali

Those looking for a retreat from the city heat can visit Manali during the summer months from April to August. Thousands of travelers flock to Manali during the winter months to see snow and indulge in adventure activities. Manali is an all round the year destination and can be visited at any time of the year.
